Catalog / Beauty Is A Line

The catalog focuses on the line as a design element in modern art. It is dedicated to paintings, graphics, sculpture, assemblages, films, installations, performances, and furnishings that convey to readers the beauty and function of line in art. The volume was published to accompany the international double exhibition "Beauty Is A Line" in the Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster and in the Rijksmuseum Twenthe Enschede. The show presented over 60 top-class loans from internationally renowned museums such as the Center Pompidou Paris or the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam as well as important private collections.
