Photographer Edward Quinn, born in Dublin in 1920, has lived and worked since the 1950s on the Côte d'Azur, which was then the meeting point for film stars, aristocracy and artists. More than anyone else, he knew how to be in the right place at the right time and shoot unforgettable photos of celebrities. His close friendship with Picasso began in 1951 and lasted until the artist's death in 1973. During this time, an extensive photographic work was created about Picasso, his family, his friends and his artistic environment. With 125 snapshots, some of which are unique, this volume documents two decades of an artist's life.

Edward Quinn lived and worked on the French Riviera from the 1950s. In 1951, he met Pablo Picasso, with whom he shared a closed friendship until the artist's death in 1973.
