This poster features the work Grande nature morte au guéridon, 1931 by Spanish Cubist artist Pablo Picasso.

"Here we have a still life," Pablo Picasso would have said, impishly emphasizing the word "dead." It is indeed a painting of fertile vitality, vibrant with energy. It evokes the artist's new lover, Marie-Thérèse, who saw Picasso as a flower woman ready to blossom, a fruit woman.

In this monumental painting there are motifs that appear again and again in Pablo Picasso's still lifes: the three-legged side table, the white composting bowl with three fruits and the large yellow pot. Here they are treated in a lavish profusion of rounded shapes and arabesques enclosing flat colors dominated by mauve and yellow.

Marie-Thérèse's curves are so present in this painting that many years later, when Pablo Picasso was viewing the painting with the critic Pierre Daix, he drew them in space precisely on the lines of the painting.

Manufacturing Process: Handmade flat frame print using an artisanal process; thanks to this technique, reliefs and lights are preserved to reflect the painterly characteristics of the artist.
