The PANTONE Pride collection was created in cooperation with the Pride Organization on the occasion of the WorldPride & EuroGames that took place in Copenhagen in 2021. In addition, the awareness of equality should be strengthened and the LGBTQ community should be given more attention and prestige.
Each color of the rainbow flag has a meaning: pink represents sexuality, red represents life, orange represents healing, yellow represents the sun, green represents nature, turquoise represents art, blue represents harmony, and purple represents spirituality.
For more than 50 years, Pantone has been the leading provider of color systems, which are used worldwide as the standard for color communication. Working together, Room Copenhagen and Pantone continue to create beautiful collections of colorful products under the PANTONE Universe name. The design and product development are the result of close collaboration between the Room Copenhagen Design Team, Pantone and the world-renowned Knud Holscher Design Studio.
