Double cards set of 10 / Henri Matisse

Postcard folder with 2 x 5 motifs by Henri Matisse with envelopes. Matisse (1869 - 1954) was a French painter, graphic artist, draftsman and sculptor. Along with Pablo Picasso, he is one of the most important artists of classical modernism. In the 1940s he created silhouettes (gouaches découpées), which, with their colorfulness and ornamentation, are considered the high point of his artistic career. The Rosary Chapel in Vence, which he planned and furnished and was inaugurated in 1951, was considered by the artist to be his masterpiece.
